What areas do you cover?
We’re based in the South East of England and cover all parts of Kent, Essex and London. We may also be able to travel further afield, depending on the job – contact us to find out more.
Will you come out even if I just have a few slipped or broken tiles?
Of course. Even if a roofing problem looks minor, it’s important to put it right as soon as possible, in order to minimise the chances of it causing more damage over time. That’s why no job is too small for Newington Roofcare. We’ll come out to assess and repair all kinds of small repairs, including slipped, broken and missing tiles and slates.
Do I have to pay for anything before the job is completed?
No. We never ask for payment up-front. We’ll only invoice you when the job is complete and you are completely satisfied with the work we’ve done. This gives you extra peace of mind that our aim is to offer you a first-class service, coupled with outstanding workmanship.
Is your work guaranteed?
Yes. All our work comes with a written guarantee, giving you additional peace of mind that any repairs or installations will stand the test of time.
Can I give you a call just for some advice?
Of course. We’re happy to advise you on any roofing issues over the phone. However, sometimes it may not be possible to give accurate advice without visiting you at your property – if this is the case, we’ll always tell you that.
Can I get a free quote?
Certainly. Simply give us a call today. We’ll discuss your requirements with you. Sometimes it may be possible to give you a quotation over the phone, but more often we’ll need to visit you at your property to fully assess the problem or requirement, before giving a quotation. The quote we give you will contain a full breakdown of the work required and the costs involved, meaning everything is transparent. There is also no obligation on you to accept the quote we’ve given.
Do you take photographs of problems before you give a quote?
Yes. It’s important to document issues on your roof like this, particularly if your insurance company may be footing the bill for some or all of the repairs. We are skilled photographers, so will take a number of photos to show exactly where the problem lies.
Are you insured?
Yes. We have full and complete public liability insurance, giving you peace of mind.
Do you offer an emergency call-out service?
Yes. If you have a roofing emergency, you can contact us at any time of day or night. We know how important it is to act on roofing damage as quickly as possible, and so we’ll endeavour to be with you as soon as we can, no matter what the time.
What is your attitude to health and safety?
Because roofing work involves working at height, health and safety are very important considerations to us. It’s something that’s always high on our priority list. All our team are trained to work safely at height, and to pay attention to the safety of our customers and the general public at all times.
Do you tidy up when you’ve finished?
Of course. We only consider a job to be complete when everything is back in order and you’re completely happy. So we’ll always take our rubbish away with us and will ensure any debris is removed from your property.
Do I need to be in while you’re working on my property?
It’s always helpful if you can be in when we first arrive to start a job, just so we can go through everything with you. However, you don’t need to stay in the whole time we’re working. We will always do everything in our power to minimise disruption to your day.
